Francesco Pitton is Research Manager at VVA Economics & Policy.
Francesco Pitton has a thorough and proven knowledge of EU policies and politics and expertise in a wide range of areas including energy, transport and spectrum. Francesco’s expertise relates in data analysis and economics research.
Prior to joining VVA, he has previously worked at the EUIPO in Alicante, Spain, in the Economics and Statistics Services at the Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights where he has been involved in research studies about the economic importance of trade secrets and economic impacts of intellectual property rights infringements.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, Italy and a MSc in Advanced Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
He is fluent in English and Italian, and he speaks intermediate Spanish and French.
Francesco spends his leisure time travelling and studying languages (French), but he also likes to play sport and keep fit.
