Luca joined VVA in June 2017 as Senior research manager.
Before that he worked as a consultant at ICF. He is a qualified lawyer with two additional post-degree masters: MA in European studies at the Foundation European College of Parma and an International MA on Business Administration at the ESCP Europe Business School in London and Berlin.
Luca has collected significant experience in evaluation projects, contributing to the designing and development of intervention logic, evaluation frameworks, data collection tools and surveys. He has also acquired significant project management skills coordinating tasks and projects of increasing complexity.
Luca participated in comparative studies and research projects for which he was responsible for country reports and case studies. Within these projects, he has conducted in-depth desk research, literature reviews, and interviews with policy-makers, representative organisations and other relevant stakeholders.
Luca is an experienced user of several survey and analysis tools (e.g. SurveyGizmo, EU Survey Tool, Qualtrics, Nvivo, etc.).
In addition to his native Italian, Luca is fluent in English and French.
When not at work, you can find Luca at the nearest gym or climbing centre. Luca loves to spend his free time on Do-It-Yourself projects, going to the cinema and concerts and baking cheesecakes.
