Throughout her studies and previous professional experiences, she gained expertise in a range of policy areas including EU economic policies, internal market and foreign relations. Her expertise relates to projects involving cross-country data collection, together with qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Prior to joining VVA, Neja completed internships in Turkey and Malta, as well as the European Commission Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs.
Neja holds an undergraduate degree in international relations from University of Ljubljana and also holds a Master’s degree in International Business Economics and Management from KU Leuven University. She has drafted a Master thesis on wage convergence and integration of Central and Eastern European Countries.
Neja speaks Slovenian (native), and is fluent in English and German, with a good understanding of Spanish and Croatian.
