TP Policy Assessment, Design and Implementation
The evolution of the international regulatory framework (especially under the recent OECD BEPS project), that follows the rapid development of MNEs’ value chains, represents the main challenge to the design of coherent and comprehensive TP policies.
The increasing importance of different types of intangibles (brands, know-how, patents, clients/suppliers lists, contractual relationships), the need to apply new forms of organisational structures going beyond the boundaries of geographies and legal entities, the digitalisation of processes, have to match with the request of identifying where the substantial economic activities are located and how they are carried out.
The understanding of how single businesses, or even entire markets, operate, is the grounding element of VVA EO. The competences of its TP experts, coupled when needed with the specific expertise of the other VVA Group BUs, enable it to design and implement tailormade TP policies.
VVA EO has been the first to develop the concept of Quick Audit – i.e. a cost-effective structured process that allows its experts to rapidly analyse the business model and the related TP policy of an MNE, assess the possible weaknesses and the related tax risks, and provide a preliminary opinion on possible improvements to the overall system.
