• OBJECTIVE:

A multinational group operating in the pharmaceutical industry required VVA Expert Opinion to estimate the value of a portfolio of products (some of which out of market), the corporate brand and its know-how. 

• ACTIVITIES:

In view of a possible transfer to third parties, a multinational group operating in the pharmaceutical industry requested the evaluation of a portfolio comprised by the corporate brand, many products (some of which no longer marketed), and the know-how related to the marketed products. The evaluation also considered a further layer of value attributable to the waiver of the rights to use the corporate brand upon the products not included in the possible transfer.  

• OUTPUT:

The parties reached an agreement on the basis of the values reported in the opinion.
